    CANUCK PLACE CHILDREN’S HOSPICE ACHIEVES IMAGINE CANADA STANDARDS ACCREDITATION

    Vancouver, B.C. (June 12, 2025):  Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, the specialist pediatric palliative care provider for B.C. and the Yukon, announced today it has been accredited under Imagine Canada Standards. With this achievement, Canuck Place becomes part of a network of nonprofit and charitable organizations dedicated to continuous improvement, transparency, operational excellence, and good governance.
    For nearly 30 years, Canuck Place has provided care for children living with life-threatening illnesses and the families who love them. This past year alone, over 945 children with life-threatening illnesses and their families were supported by Canuck Place through inpatient and community-based care in-home, in-hospital, and virtually.

    About Canuck Place Children’s Hospice: Canuck Place Children’s Hospice is BC and the Yukon’s pediatric palliative care provider. Over 945 children living with life-threatening illnesses and families from five provincial health regions receive Canuck Place inpatient and community-based care (in home/in hospital). Canuck Place operates 10 patient beds and 8 family suites through two hospices in Vancouver and Abbotsford.
