Canuck Place Mom raises exceptional funds for Canuck Place with an epic cycling trip across British Columbia.
Vancouver, B.C. (September 18, 2025): Canuck Place Mom, Mireille Larosa made miles of impact for Canuck Place Children's Hospice through her 1,745 km cycle over two weeks throughout the province.
On September 1, Canuck Place Mom, Larosa, set off on a ride dubbed 'Tour de Canuck Place' cycling across British Columbia in support of Canuck Place, BC, and the Yukon's only pediatric palliative care provider, caring for 946 children with life-threatening illnesses and the families who love them. Larosa embarked on the adventure of a lifetime, in honour of her son Charles, who passed away on the Canuck Place program in 2017. She visited the towns and communities where Canuck Place families live, raising funds and awareness for the vital care Canuck Place provides.

Larosa spent 15 days cycling around the province, departing from Canuck Place Vancouver - Glen Brae Manor, and ending at Canuck Place Abbotsford - Dave Lede House. Along the way, she went from Vancouver, to Vancouver Island, the Fraser Valley, the Kootenays, and Thompson-Okanagan region. Larosa and her volunteer support driver were greeted at Canuck Place Abbotsford on September 15 by fans, children, staff, and volunteers from Canuck Place, celebrating her incredible 1,745 km feat and raising over $81,000 (and growing). The funds from Tour de Canuck Place not only honour baby Charles' legacy, but will help provide complex care to children and families at Canuck Place.
